Like most things, I think it is a quantity issue.
Through the web, one can come into contact with
information and ideas from multiple areas of the globe.
People who live in disparate areas can now share information.
Connection and exchange is lubricated through this medium.
It acts as a catalyst for change. Doing qigong then just
acts to integrate this in; and in total, change is accelerated.
However if someone spends TOO MUCH time online and doesn't moderate it,
then the mind becomes gluttonous. The excessive use just
contributes to extra clutter in the mind, and then it requires
extra work to filter out the "mental indigestion".
Moderation in all things.
One bar of dark chocolate is good for you.
Ten bars of dark chocolate in a row, not so good.
