MessageI owe a much longer report on my activities with magnets and qigong, but I wanted to drop a quick note. I have been playing with magnets now for a few weeks. In the CD that comes with the Magnetic Qigong set that Peter Ragnar sells, he mentioned a book by Albert Roy Davis and Walter Rawls. I did a search on them which led me to www.magnetlabs.com. When it comes to magnets, these people really know their stuff. They started their research in 1936, with the discovery that the north and south poles of magnets put out different energy from each other; the North is negative, the South is positive. They also discovered that magnetic energy does not travel in the apple shape that we were all taught in school - the shape formed by sprinkling iron filings around a magnet. The energy travels in vortices. North pole out the top and down into the center of the magnet, south pole out the bottom and up into the center of the magnet. Each poles energy switches polarity in the center through a neutral zone. If this ain't a perfect example of yin/yang/yuan chi, I'm a monkey's uncle - or mind...
First thing I found out - don't buy inexpensive magnets. They're not polarized properly. The magnets need to be clearly north and south. Many are not. I'm pretty sure that the magnets that Peter sells are the right type - the ones he's recommending with the Magnetic Qigong set. There are others he sells that the Magnet Labs folks do not recommend. Right now I'm taking their word as gospel.
So far, the magnets act as beautiful amplifiers of chi during practice. I will have a lot more to say about this, but initial results are extremely promising. The one thing that you have to absolutely careful of - know which side is north and which is south. And don't ever use the South side unless you know exactly what you're doing. It is very yang, and will amplify bacteria, inflammation, tumors, etc.
More soon.
