MessageMy father was an alcoholic, so I was quite judging about them for many years too. But, at a time when I was working through family pains, I read a great book about alcoholics and spirituality, "Thirst for Wholeness" by Christina Grof, the wife of Stanislav Grof (of Holotropic Breathwork fame).

Drugs (including alcohol) are a quick path to experience, but they do lead people to deep experience. But, not a path for me......
