Simon,
Michael's comment shows how little he knows what master Nan knows and teaches. It is true that Nan is against any mind guided energy system. Yet, he describes in volumes what happens to the body and the effects of opening the microcosmic orbit in details. It is very well described in his book "Tao and Longevity". And believe me, it is more then "oh, you should feel warm sensation here and there".
