I am wondering what is the reason why he teaches breathing through third eye and not crown as a form of later heaven breathing, which after breathing with full torso is stabilized into empty force breathing of lower dan tien.

His scematics of central channels clearly show it should be crown. Also his martial arts book points this in eight phases description.

There is a safe way to practice it.
Continual practices of microcosmic orbit points, or inner smile lines, or Kumar's external dissolving along central, left and right central channels will eventually evolve into effordless (later heaven) breathing practice.
