I was pissed by notion of feeding the hungry ghost as part of trainning.
It is suggested in shen(or shen chi)-only traditions.
It is quite obvious for how can you stay within the lineage:
you feed your ching to your lineage and thus at the end you are the lineage.
It must be so for if you are a vowed boddhisattva you cannot let it to chance, what will happen in next cycle. It is in Bodri and Pantanjali.
it is also the way of attuning to lineage. For how can a virtually chingless shen communicate to incorporated something unless such shen is 'called down'. Calling down is performed by means of ching. Ching offering or something else.

I got this by contemplating the nature of Slavinski research. He offers yuan approach to empty mind meditation by use of change, not efford. However he never approaches the ching, the body. He studies body feeling, emotiong, mental and causal, but never the ching itselt. Ching is only the charge. It was bodri's doors to meditation that i first grasped at potential of reaching all the way to ching form in 'meditation'.
As the only yuan way of empty mind meditation, i still recommend it. other book is shit as it is not instruction. it's his last. previous books are very good thoough.

i am now working on hand: was contemplating the pearl in hands on belly massage book. Yea it is pearl but it consequence of skill.
apllying skill to chi kung:
it is possible to feel layers of aura with hands through some practice
especially first (some centimeters) and second (decimeter plus)
so i am now just using hands to study/practise MO, using the macrocosmic orbit hand movement of heaven and earth. body movement is not important. hands are adopted to cultivate MO: are second layer distance or first aura layer distance away of body, camming the layer, while beaming to appropriate channel.
-start of inhale
starting each hand front of hip, gliding hands up on second layer (palms beaming to back channel)
when reaching jade pilow with beam palms are at least jade pillow hight and then move in curve each hand back towards jade pillow, beam althrough beaming at jade pillow
-end inhale
both palms are equidistant to jade pillow, first layer distance of jade pillow. both palms are one palm above other, first layer distance between them
both palms form a train
-start exhale
lead both palms along back channel to infront of mouth, one palm some distance (first layer) of other palm, both palms same distance to body
-end exhale, inhale
-start ehale
lead train (one palm in front other, both same distance to body) down the front channel and the beams in the earth
-end exhale
found link to aspectics book, didn't check it, may search elsewhere
