MessageGoing to college does not have to conflict with the supreme natural force. Within the Tao there is much compromise. Much conflict arises out of ego. We should be no ones puppet. As a martial artist there was geri, loyalty to ones sensei. As a son there is geri, loyalty to parents for the love, caring and many things they have given. To reject there requests out of hand, particularly for selfish reasons is to break a soulful trust.
I found college to be about 4 or 5 hours of work 4 days a week. The rest of the time can be spent searching/learning in a young enthusiastic environment. If you don't have the discipline to withstand a few hours of classes a day, you may not have the discipline to live a complete life. Find a school in a location close to a taoist setting to study at.
Peace
Michael
