MessageThis is a good example of how things are discovered that completely change the status quo, but are glossed over when it comes to expanding the standard world view:
This site in Turkey would be contemporary with the dating that some place on the creation of the sphinx in Egypt, about 11,000 years ago during the last ice age.
According to the standard world view, humans were still making flint tools and living a neolithic hunter-gatherer lifestyle, so where did they get the knowledge to create intricate relief sculptures, and what clearly look like stone supports for the roof of a building?
We can add this to the long list of historical anomalies like the Osirion of megalithic stones below the level of the sphinx in Cairo, and Tiahuanaco in Bolivia. Interesting article.
