I thought Steven's post's comments about the book are accurate, no new material in relation to already published books. If you are totally new it might be a good read.

You should try to go to the signing and meet M. Chia. At the very least you can try to get a feel of his energy and maybe learn something. As mentioned if you go report back afterward.
