this is of course the nature of the measurement of timeFrom: Steven

MessageTo measure time is merely to count the peaks
of a spatial oscillation. Any event can
be measured by starting with an initial phase
and then doing the count--stopping when you
notice the final phase.
How else can a measurement be performed to
record the depth of a given evolution?
One must be very careful in these types of
thoughts to avoid them from becoming self-referential.
For instance, the seemingly logical question,
"how fast does time flow?", is nonsensical because
it is self-referential.
