like leeches. at one time was very emotional toward modern md taking blood and compared it to bleeding of blood in middle ages.
but take cupping sets. they are energy leeches. leeches are ching leeches.
if one can make a spell by spilling blood, the practise has effect. leeching sick substance out of sick people would be a possible possitive application.
or pasteur. he also proposed that things cannot migrate through walls. his was a brick that formed mindset that later was used to jail reich inscentive. reich did propose that life forms are not bound by walls for manifestation, they organize their matter via orgon.

it is not necessary that science is entirely stupid. it is just that one does not see any patent that was appropriated for security reasons. author of such patent is then also bound not to discuss it. it is common patent process element.

it is also common that the hoax callers are innitiates. like franklin announcing a statement that was commonly interpreted as a hoax condemnation of mesmer, yet franklin himself was a freemason and there is a rumor of his wife having large interest in spiritual interests (as was presented by sherman). but then if mesmer were no condemned by then society he would remain in france for the dawn of revolution which as a member of higher society would not be a life nurturing. so he died much later in swiss.
