MessageIntersting story I would love to know more. Ferdinand Verbiest in the sixteen hundreds gave up the goods such as the steam engine/steam automobile to save his life, and win the favor of the Emperor. I wounder if the Jesuits still run the Knowledge for power and privilege game. Good old history channel. Was this the opening the Dutch/Roman/British orders where waiting for, with the religion came the Dutch/British East indian trading company with opium. Not saying this was all bad as Hong Kong, has helped spawn a blooming middle class, with some growing pains ofcourse. Some might say the real sneaky invasion was america as there was less of a racial difference.
