Message. . . when you can line the pockets of execs that will supposedly
keep the economic machine (i.e. monster) moving?
Besides--the wealthy have the most to lose if our economic system
collapses. Thus desperation and fear of losing helps to generate
under-the-radar shady deals and agreements.
As I mentioned in the other post, the more money you have and spend in
our economy, the "better the citizen you are" in the government's view--even
if they don't say so overtly. Thus they are more than willing to
grease the wheels of those that are viewed as being the "best citizens".
In other words, this all fits the overall pattern.
Just make you sure you spend your $600 government rebate check on
junk to keep the wheels turning :-P
