I do know one thing, it is very unhealthy to concentrate only in one sense. However I have only ever heard of this causing problems in that sense, eg too much astral vision alone causing blindness, this I have seen. However I don't know anything about cancer, it is difficult to trace the cause to viewing alone perhaps.
On the question of the will, I'm afraid you and I are falling into our common problem, we define words differently! :)
When you speak about the will you are not speaking at all about what *I*, or most magicians I think, would call the will; you are speaking about the 'willpower of the personality'. This indeed a faculty of the (lower) mental body.
To explain what I myself mean by will, it is to do with the first post on my blog which gave it as the secret to all successful magic. 'Neutrality' is a word I use, other people I know call it 'positive non-desiring', 'focussed indifference', and so forth.
This will has nothing at all to do with: sweating, 'trying' very hard, suppressing, forcing. It is quiet in nature.

Yes I agree. This is not what I mean by will! The will involves correct alignment to neutrality.
Another way to say it which accords with your approach I believe and hope!: - the person became ill because it is their 'will' to heal. THAT is the will I mean. That is the nature of the magical will. Now you are talking about 'causal body' and perhaps this is equivalent to true will. But you can be sure from me, will of a magician is precisely in alignment with this and is not concerned either with desire or the overruling of desire. It is from this neutrality that it achieves its effects.
For example Dolphin's method that he spoke above concerning a genital virus. He matched the frequency and the virus disappeared. This was done by what *I* would call will - will to align and thereby to cure. But it was not 'trying really hard', 'removing', 'forcing', it was aligning back to neutrality.

Not so, again you say this because you are talking about it in terms of forcing. If you can help the other person on their journey, this is no infringement - if you stop the person taking the journey, *that* of course is infringement.
Magical will does not 'overrule'!
