MessagePolyamory is big here in Ashevlle, I've been watching clients deal with it over the last ten years.
Essentially Open Marriage without the marriage certificate - usually one person is primary relationship, maybe live-in, plus other partners.
But same problems of jealousy and insecurity always present, eternal questions as to the depth of one's committment to someone else, who is primary and who is secondary, etc. etc. Don;'t know of any practitioners with kids, you can cut new ground here, Wendy.
It takes extra energy, hopefully balanced by getting extra energy from other partners.....:)
