I went to read the Michael Moore page, because I remember a similar claim being done in his movie. I even dug the actual pages in the September 11 commission, and finally came to the conclusion that:
yes, the Saudi family flew away. But not before the 13th. They were interrogated, but not held. Something that according to Moore was not enough, and according to the commission was enough. No discordants on the facts.

What instead I find unbelievable, from you loved snopes, is that the wings of a 757 folded back in the impact to the pentagon. Left no signs on the floor, while 2 rotors of titanium and steel evaporated, while a different one, smaller was found in the inside of the pentagon. I just can see that happening, you know. Is all that titanium and steel. It's actually quite hard to fuse, but to evaporate... hmmm.
And the fact about hitting the ground. We have all seen the remainings of the planes that hit mountains and they leave a hell of a lot of debris... hmmm.
Do you think you can find a better answer than their foldable wings, with evaporating rotors?
