MessageHe had a dream. He saught a vision.
OBSERVATION 1:
He was known to often obsess if others can see his wake visions. He could see all his machines in his inner mind, fully grouded in his body and this reality. Thus he was pesting his friends if they see it, describing it if they understand it, even trying to photograph it.
He was also a dreamer. He never pested his friends with his dreams.
OBSERVATION 2:
In zero energy community it is believed that a machine may work because of extraordinary amount of energy builder has invested in building it. It is great challenge building machine that works if build by common man with common investment of energy.
Thus protocols were invisioned to build first one machine, then second by first team. Then several team around the word were to work on it, and after all this investiture, the machine might be sufficiently here that it might work if built by a commoner the common way.
All tesla inventions worked straight away for everybody after he presented them to patent office.
CONCLUSION:
His experimenting was not empty, ie trying to get inspiration. He was trying to bring his inspiration here, on earth.
He did not made public his inner explorations.

He was taught by his father to repeat sentences.
Clairsentience
He was taught by his father to intuit what he was thinking at moments.
Insight
He was given by his father various problems to solve.
Trauma
He was playing with hisbrother. Brother fell down the stair. Brother hits his head. Brother dies couple days later. Brother in delirium utters accusation that Nikola killed him. His older brother was firstborn and was trained to be priest. After firstborn's death Nikola was trained for a priest.
Spirits and vampires
Was haunted by nightmares of spirits and vampires in his youth.
Vedanta
He has made contact and met swami vivekananda, as referenced in vivekanda's raja joga book.
Son of thunder.
Thunderstrike hit the house of his birth at the time of his birth. (source unknown, internet probalby)
Thunder discussions
He always had shades down. Only at time of thunderstorm did he raise them, ordered all his assistants out of laboratory, and was seen to be talking aloud to him. (one of his diary that is sold on amazon, one custumer remark on amazon cites from book)
Visions
He was always haunted by visions. He noted that at one point he learn to constructively integrate them.
The dreaming
He used to awake in dreams in a land. He didn't know it. Slowly began exploring it, and learned his way around. He also found vehicles parked. What he knew was they were human planes.
Sex
He believed investing his energy in relationship with women would lessen his energy available to his explorations.
